20th Annual Kitchen Tour (Sept 25th) altered due to pandemic
As you read in my email and heard at the March Branch meeting, the Kitchen Tour, again this year, cannot happen in its traditional design because of Covid-19 concerns by homeowners and chefs in early stages of planning. This year, we will retain the basket-raffle idea by asking members to donate baskets by May 1st in order to avoid asking merchants. By that date, we will know how many baskets we will have received, and then we can begin drafting our publicity. Value of each basket should be $75 or more. So far, one member has donated a $100 Italian basket from Rulli Brothers, and two other members each have committed to a basket. Several members may work together on one basket, an interest group may choose to do something as in the past, or if individuals wish to donate new items, our committee can assemble them into baskets.
Also incorporated with the basket-raffle will be a virtual tour of one outstanding kitchen (with chef) in Beaver County.
Please send me an email about your intentions as soon as possible so we know what to expect by May 1st. With your cooperation, we can anticipate another successful, but different, fund-raiser this year. Thank you.
