Description
This 1930 historical home was designed by local architect John Craner. The Craner “Cottage” is one of a few local homes built during that era. His use of the clinker bricks in the outside wall and the slate roofing are a unique feature in his work.
The kitchen remodel was completed in 2022. Originally there was a wall between the kitchen and dining room roughly where the peninsula is located with a swinging door between them.
The cabinets were designed by Sunrise Cabinets. With the exception of the granite, all the lighting, cabinet installation, flooring and electrical was done by N. Chirico Construction. The granite was furnished and installed by Marble and Granite Concepts in Cleveland. The Miele oven and dishwasher were made in Italy.
Christine Meyer, who is hosting today’s tour, played an integral role in the consultation and recommendation of flooring, furniture and fixtures. She did a tremendous job and I highly recommend her.
