The first planned meeting of the Antique Interest Group will be held in April. We never meet in January, February, July, and August. We are member-driven in choosing our topics. Not all of us are experts or collectors. Between our members and the internet, we succeed. Except for our field trips, we meet on the second Monday of the month in members’ homes. We are always looking for members who would like to share their interest in antiques as well as learn along with us. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Jan Landsbach, our reservation coordinator (724) 846-3905.

2026 SCHEDULE:
Our first two meetings in the spring will be held at the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls. The total cost will be $50 each time we go there. It was agreed that each member will pay $10 annually for this. With 15 members, that will give us enough for three visits. We also agreed that two members will provide refreshments at each meeting.
We are still actively looking for a better solution and would welcome any suggestions. Our large membership of 15 makes it difficult for some members to host.
The 2026 schedule is as follows:
April 13, 2026. 1:00 pm (CFLBF) Topic: “in Your Easter Bonnet.” Vintage or antique Easter or spring paraphernalia. Refreshments: Bonnie and Jan.
May 11, 2026. 1:00 pm (CFLBF) Topic: “A Tour of the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls, highlighting the Classical Revival Architecture and its history.” Refreshments: Ginger and Kathy.
June 2026. FIELD TRIP to Hoyt Innovations plus lunch out. Jean will be coordinating. NOTE: this will not be on a Monday during our regular scheduled meeting.
We will be on break for July and August.
September 14, 2026. 1:00 pm. Topic: Antique and Vintage Banks. Location: Jean Macaluso’s Garden. Hostesses: Jean and Marianne.
October 12, 2026. UNDECIDED
November 9, 2026. UNDECIDED
December 2026. FIELD TRIP! Hoyt Self Guided Christmas Tour and lunch out. Not on a Monday.
Members will confirm fall plans when we meet in the spring.
