AAUW BEAVER VALLEY WINS PRESTIGIOUS FIVE STAR BRANCH AWARD
The members of AAUW Beaver Valley Branch are proud to announce this award from national AAUW. The Five Star Committee began 2 years ago and in 2023, we were awarded 3 Stars. In 2024 we strove to earn all five stars and through hard work and diligence, we did!
The following letter from Tremayne Parquet of AAUW explains the stars that we have received:
Dear AAUW Beaver Valley (PA) Branch,
What an extraordinary accomplishment! It is my absolute pleasure to inform you that the AAUW Beaver Valley (PA) Branch has achieved all five stars in AAUW’s FY24 Five Star Program. This is the highest level of recognition, reflecting your branch’s outstanding dedication to advancing AAUW’s mission of gender equity for women and girls.
Earning all five stars signifies exceptional work across the program’s key areas: Advancement, Public Policy & Advocacy, Governance & Sustainability, Programming, and Communications & External Relations. Your branch has demonstrated exemplary leadership, collaboration, and commitment to making a meaningful impact in your community and beyond.
We will soon update the AAUW website to reflect all branches that have earned stars this year, but we couldn’t wait to share this incredible news with you. Your branch’s achievement will be proudly highlighted, serving as a model of excellence and inspiration to others across the organization.
